Important Dates

Crayola Colorcycle

Davidson Creek Elementary is participating in the Crayola’s Colorcycle program.  It is an opportunity for us to avoid sending plastic to landfills by collecting used/dried up markers for their recycling program.

Mrs. Coates will be keeping the collection box in her classroom and collecting used markers until Wed. Feb. 5th.  She will have her grade 6 students going around to classrooms during period 7 daily to collect class markers.

Parent Volunteers Needed for the Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair will be coming to Davidson Creek Elementary from February 11–13. We are looking for parent volunteers to help at the fair cashier table during the following times:

  • February 11th, 12th and 13th during lunch recess (from 11:30 am to 12:15 pm)
  • February 12th and 13th during the student-led conferences ( 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm)

If you can help during any of these times, we’d love to hear from you! Even if you can help with part of a shift that would be great. Volunteers make the Book Fair happen so thank you for helping.

Grade 4 Parents - Accountability Pillar Survey Information

Grade 4 parents, here is the link again for information regarding the Accountability Pillar Survey you will be receiving in the mail shortly if you have not already received it.

Just a reminder that when filling this survey out, you need to know that if you select "I don't know" Alberta Education counts that as a "Disagree" or "Dissatisfied". A better option, if you don't know is to leave the question blank.  I hope this is helpful information when completing the survey. NOTE: Communications Services manages the Division's Facebook and Twitter accounts.
